Convention Swag At Its Best

Have you ever been to a convention before?  I don't mean suit-and-tie-work-made-me-go type convention, but the hey-there's-a-Klingon-at-the-juice-bar type of convention?  If you haven't you're missing out on a great time.

All around the country people gather in groups to celebrate things they enjoy, be it Star Trek, Legos, GI Joes, or many other fan favorite events.  These conventions are attended by die-hard fans and fanatics, and are typically a great time to enjoy one's hobbies with others that appreciate it as well.

Some of these conventions are well attended by commercial vendors.  There's a lot of money to be made by catering to this ravenous, yet selective crowd.  Some of the manufacturers even produce limited edition items specifically for the convention circuit.  These items become the holy grail to attendees as well as those who cannot attend.  The limited edition items are a must for those who want to "complete" their collection.
